Fold
Fold was created while exploring what a light switch could be. How can you make the switch something more than just something you click to turn on the light? How can you use the switch to add something to the experience of the lamp?

The idea of fold is that you actually “create” the lamp when you turn it on. You push the screen into the frame and the shade folds out while the light turns on. Fold is a tactile lamp developed in the time of digitization.
It explores the states of a lamp in order to see if it’s possible to have a lamp that gives a different experience in the two states, on and off.
