Datert explores the notion that social media has become mainstream media. At an international level we have seen a tendency towards more person driven news through services such as Substack and independent news on Youtube, and we have seen a distrust of more mainstream news outlets grow in several countries.

Datert is a news platform that focuses on the journalist by taking the backseat and curating social media. By sorting content from different platforms into readable news stories, Datert gives an overview of what is happening in the world, spreading news in a new way, in a manner that meets the user where they are - on the media carousel.





The main delivery is not a solution to a specific problem, but rather a question about news consumption and where it is headed, inviting to reflect upon polarization, sources, credibility and the echo chamber effect.
